For as long as I can remember, I’ve been a seeker—someone who feels deeply, questions relentlessly, and is drawn to mysteries that many dismiss as mere fantasy. Yet, for years, the extraordinary experiences that shaped my inner world were shrouded in self-doubt. I doubted the visions, the recollections of past lives, and even the very essence of my inner voice. I thought, “Maybe I’m crazy… perhaps I’m just making this up.” That inner critic was relentless, and for months, it held me captive.
The Early Struggles of Self-Doubt
There was a time when every vivid memory that surfaced from my soul felt like a burden. I would recall details of past lives—the faces, the places, the events—only to immediately question their validity. Was I really remembering something from another lifetime, or was my mind conjuring up fantastical stories? The more I doubted, the more confused I became. Every recollection was met with a storm of self-criticism. I began to hide these memories, convinced that trusting them would lead to ridicule or, worse, a complete loss of control over my reality.
In those moments of solitude, when I sat quietly in meditation, the visions would come flooding back. I saw flashes of events that didn’t fit into the linear narrative of my current life. One memory in particular haunted me—a memory that felt both distant and achingly familiar. I recalled a past life as a monk living in a serene monastery. In that life, I encountered a young boy who came to me with a painful wound. As I guided him through the healing process, I not only tended to his injury but also shared with him the truth that he held the power to heal himself. His eyes lit up with a spark of hope as he returned to his village with newfound strength.

But that peaceful vision took a dark turn. The very next day, our beautiful monastery was brutally massacred. I was overwhelmed with guilt. I blamed myself, wondering if I could have done something differently, if my words had somehow sealed our fate. I carried that guilt silently, even as life continued in my current incarnation. The seeds of self-doubt had been sown deep within me.
A Life-Changing Moment: The Angelic Reiki Practitioner Workshop
Then, a transformative moment arrived—a moment that forever altered the course of my inner journey. I had signed up for an Angelic Reiki Practitioner workshop, seeking to deepen my healing abilities and perhaps find some solace in my chaotic inner world. That day, our teacher introduced a guest speaker, a man whose presence immediately charged the room with an energy I could hardly describe.
The moment he walked in, a single word echoed relentlessly in my mind: “monastery.” It was as if the word was imprinted on my consciousness, demanding my attention. I was instantly transported back to that long-buried memory—a memory I had almost locked away in fear and shame.
As the workshop proceeded, the word “monastery” continued to reverberate in my thoughts. Toward the end of the session, unable to contain my curiosity and desperation for clarity, I asked the guest speaker if he had ever been at the monastery that I remembered. His response was both startling and profoundly healing: “My body is there.”
Before I could even share the details of my remembrance, he began describing the same monastery, the same events—the healing of the young boy, the massacre that followed, and the weight of guilt I had carried for so long. In that instant, his words washed over me like a healing tide. He told me gently, “It was not your fault.” As tears streamed down my face, we embraced in a shared remembrance of our souls—two kindred spirits reunited in a moment of deep, soulful understanding.
That encounter shattered my self-doubt. I realized that the experiences I had once dismissed as crazy were, in fact, profound messages from my soul. I was not only capable of remembering past lives, but these memories were guiding me towards a greater truth. I finally understood that my inner wisdom was real and that it held the key to healing not only myself but also those who might need to hear my story.
Embracing Practices That Nurture Inner Wisdom
After that transformative day, I began to trust my inner voice with a newfound clarity. I immersed myself in practices that helped quiet the incessant chatter of self-doubt and allowed my inner wisdom to shine through. Here are some of the tools and practices that have become sacred pillars on my journey:
Angelic Reiki
Angelic Reiki has been a lifeline—a channel through which divine love and healing energy flow into my being. In each session, I feel a gentle reminder that I am supported by the universe. The healing energy reconnects me with the truths of my past, while also illuminating the path forward. It’s as if each session mends a piece of the shattered self that once doubted its own brilliance.
Meditation & Breathwork
Meditation has become a sanctuary where I meet my truest self. In the stillness, I learn that wisdom isn’t something to be chased or forced—it arises naturally when we allow ourselves to simply be. Breathwork, on the other hand, has taught me to release the old patterns of tension and fear that have held me back for so long. With each deep, conscious breath, I let go of self-doubt and invite clarity into my life.
Somatic Coaching
My journey with Somatic Coaching has been transformative. Through gentle movement, guided exercises, and reconnecting with my inner child, I’ve learned to listen to the body’s wisdom. There’s an old saying: “The body never lies.” In those moments of somatic exploration, I rediscover the truths stored deep within me—truths that remind me of who I am beyond the layers of self-doubt.

Inner Wisdom: A Source of Timeless Truth
Through these practices, I’ve come to define inner wisdom not as an elusive or mystical concept, but as the natural, authentic voice within that guides us when we are still. It isn’t something we need to force or chase; rather, it surfaces when we surrender to the flow of life.
I’ve learned that inner wisdom is found in the quiet moments—when we are not seeking or pushing for answers, but when we simply allow life to unfold naturally. In those moments of surrender, the tides of our inner being bring forth eternal truths that have always been within us.
This understanding has brought me profound peace. When self-doubt creeps in, I no longer question the authenticity of my experiences. I remember the monastery. I remember the healing touch of Angelic Reiki and the soothing flow of breathwork. I remember the gentle guidance of my inner child and the compassionate words of a teacher who helped me see that I was never alone.
Life Beyond Self-Doubt
Overcoming self-doubt has not been an overnight miracle. It is a continuous journey—a dance between the shadows of our past and the light of our inner truth. Today, I stand here, writing these words, and guiding others on their own journeys. I share my story in the hope that it will resonate with those who feel lost in the labyrinth of self-doubt.
Each time I feel that familiar voice of uncertainty, I take a moment to pause and remember the powerful experience at the workshop. I close my eyes, take a deep breath, and imagine the sacred energy of the monastery enveloping me. In that instant, the voice of self-doubt quiets, and I am reminded that my inner wisdom is a wellspring of strength and clarity.
If you are reading this and recognize a piece of your own struggle with self-doubt, know that you are not alone. Every one of us has moments when we question our worth, our experiences, and our ability to trust the inner voice that guides us. My journey has taught me that these doubts do not define us—they are simply signposts pointing us back to our true selves.
Here’s what I’ve learned along the way:
Trust the whispers of your soul: Even when the world around you seems loud and chaotic, there is a soft, steady voice within that holds the wisdom of your being.
Honor your experiences: Every memory, every vision, every unexpected emotion is a thread in the tapestry of who you are. Do not dismiss them—celebrate them.
Embrace your healing practices: Whether it’s Angelic Reiki, meditation, somatic coaching, or breathwork, these practices are not just rituals; they are lifelines that connect you to your inner truth.
Remember the power of remembrance: When self-doubt arises, think of your personal moments of clarity—like the memory of the monastery—and let those remind you that you are on the right path.

A Journey of Remembrance and Healing
Today, I live with the profound awareness that every experience, every past life memory, every moment of self-doubt, has led me to this very moment. A moment where I can confidently say, “I trust my inner wisdom.” I have learned that the seeker does not force wisdom into existence—instead, wisdom flows naturally when we are still enough to listen.
By sharing my story, I hope to inspire you to embrace your own inner guidance. Let your inner wisdom rise, let it illuminate the darkest corners of doubt, and guide you towards a life filled with authenticity, love, and deep, resonant healing.
Remember, the journey is ongoing. Every day is a chance to trust yourself a little more, to heal a little deeper, and to shine a little brighter. When self-doubt creeps in, I think of the monastery, of that transformative moment in the workshop, and of the countless practices that have nurtured my spirit. And I smile, knowing that each step on this journey is a victory in itself.
May you find the strength to overcome your self-doubt and the courage to trust the profound wisdom that lies within you.
With love and unwavering faith in your inner light,
Carrie
